Festive meals in Mumbai - TTB Recommendations for Diwali

Diwali is a time of light, laughter, and togetherness — a season that naturally calls for sharing delicious meals with loved ones. From long, joy-filled dinners with family to lively gatherings with friends, the festivities are best celebrated around a beautiful table of great food and warm company.

To make your celebrations even more special, we’ve put together a list of restaurants we recommend based on our own dining experience.

Whether you’re planning a traditional feast, a chic festive brunch, or an indulgent night out, these spots promise to make your celebrations shine a little brighter.

1.     A full -fledged Thali Experience at Golden Star or Maharaha Bhog. This legendary place never disappoints. Every food item on your plate, loaded with desi ghee and lots of flavour makes you want to keep eating. This suits every family dynamic and age group. Must visit.

2.     A Pan Asian Feast at Yazu (Two outlest across cities such as  - Oshiwara, Lower Parel) Yazu is not a new name in the Asian food scene of Mumbai. The cocktails here are excellent, the service is proactive and the vibe is perfect! If you want a taste wide-range of Pan Asian delicacies, you must try Yazu! They have a great vegetarian and Jain friendly menu too. Perfect for families and friend groups.

3.     A middle easten affair at Bayroute (multiple outlest across cities such as Goregaon, Powai, Juhu, BKC, Cuffe Parade and Ghatkopar) - This restaurant is my go-to place for Arabic and Middle Eastern Fine Dining experience. I have been here multiple times and have tried their various outlets across the city. The food, the ambiance and the service never fails to impress you.
