We were hostel at this Pan Asian restaurant in Andheri last week.
From an elaborate food menu of about 20 pages, it was really difficult choose a few items. We tried their truffle edamame dim sums which were delicate and creamy with a hint of white truffle. My friend had Chicken and enoki dim sums which were perfect too.
From their Sushi selection, we tried Yazu Dragon Roll. The only thing I did not like was the Mascarpone Cheese on top, which I didnt pay attention while ordering, so that’s on me!
The last order from small plates was the Turnip cakes. These were excellent though!
Here’s what the spread looked like! We paired it with their signature cocktails.
Fir mains, we had a vegetarian Donburi, which was my first time trying a it. It was quite good the sticky rice and the combination of the curry was great!
We also had Yazu Special Charcoal Noodles tossed in Paprika Sauce. It is served with a side exta paprika sauce, so you can adjust the spice level as per your liking
From the dessert section, We tried the Coconut pannacota with passionfruit. Shrey liked it but for me The Maltilda, pull me up cake was perfect for its taste and texture.
Verdict: Yazu is a perfect place for a cozy date or a celebration. The cocktails here were excellent The service was proactive and the vibe was perfect! If you want a taste wide-range of Pan Asian delicacies, you must try Yazu! They have a great vegetarian and Jain friendly menu too.
