P.F. Change opened its doors in India almost a year ago but we finally went there last month. There was no special occasion but Mr. Iyer decided to take me on a date and he only picked this place. Apparently he had been to PF Changs during his visit to the USA more than a decade ago.
Being a Sunday afternoon, we thought reserving a table would be a wise call. And so it was. The place was packed. What I liked about it just as entered was how far apart the seats were. Unlike all the new places where you can almost eat food from your neighbouring table and be a part of their conversation too! You know what I mean?
The reds and the crimsons on the walls were nor overwhelming at all, in fact the entire decor seemed in sync.

PC - P.F. Changs
The service was outstanding from the moment we stepped in.
We had Chang’s Noodle Soup (INR 345++) A beautiful earthy-brothy soup. This was followed by their Handmade Vegetable Pan Fried Dumplings(INR 365++) . We ideally wanted the veggies chilli oil dumplings which were sold out for the day. But nonetheless we were happy with the ones we were served, for those were scrumptious. Sitting in a pool of chilli oil and soy sauce sauce. These sure looked great to begin with!
From the mains we had Hot Garlic Vegetables (INR 575++) and we paired it with Burnt Chilli Hakka Noddles(INR 445++) . I wanted to try their signature lo mein but I went ahead with the servers recommendation. Both were great in interns of taste an pairing.
I washed all this down with a glass of Midnight in Shanghai (INR 790++), a lime and blue pea gin cocktail served with rock candy! It tasted as good as it looked!
For dessert, we had Sticky Toffee Pudding (INR 445++)and that clearly was a highlight of the meal for Vishnu.

I honestly could not pick one item as everything we ate here was pretty good and I definitely would want to visit again as I have my eyes on artisanal gelato and their sushi.
Their menu has images of all the food items next to the description which makes it visually easier to understand what you are ordering. I wish more restaurants did this.

Verdict
Our overall bill amount was close to INR 3500 fort this 4 course meal with one cocktail. Was it worth it? - Every single penny of it. Can’t wait to visit again.
