Thali Review: Golden Star Thali

We were invited by THE LEGENDARY thali place - Golden Star this week.

Started with the chutneys and achars. Their Garlic chutney is outstanding!

Moving onto the boondi raita which was sweet that would remind you of Dahi Wada ka dahi.

Then came the Papad Churi followed by the softest Dhokla Ever! And some really good tiny batata vadas.

Then we were served the sabjis. There was Waal Bhaji, Aloo Gatta Sabji, Kesar Paneer and season’s speciality - Undiyu!

This was followed by - Gujrati Kadhi and Mithi Dal. Then came the star of the thali - Dal Bati Churma. Churma was loaded with piping hot dal and loads of Desi Ghee.

Their Shrikhand served  was super fresh and creamy!

Then came hot fuklas and hot puris. But the rotla loaded with ghee has my heart.

We patiently waited while the serving staff served us one item the other.

The pricing ranges from 590 - 650 per thali which is totally worth it!

Verdict:

Golden Star Thali is not a new name!It has been around for many years and their food is outstanding!
