Festive Feast

With Festive season just around the corner, I thought of compiling a list of places that you can visit with your family and friends. Some of these places are my personal favorites since a couple of years and some are newly opened. From the location point of view I have tried covering least one place from town to suburbs, in popular localities. Hope this helps 🙂

1. Pi Bar & Kitchen

Location : Andjeri Category : Family and friends Food Type : Italian Pizza Diner This gourmet pizza place that has very homely ambiance with suitable wooden and pastel furnishings sure has a very calming effect on its diners. Pi Bar & Kitchen suits mainly family crowd and their food is drool worthy! Must try – Dough Balls with Garlic Butter, Baked Mushrooms with Pesto & Mozzarella Quatro Farmagi pizza , Crème Brulee.

2.JLWA

Location : Andheri

Category : Friends/ Youth

Food Type : Progressive Indian Restobar

This brand new place in Bandra is surely going to be a talk of the town. JLWA is very chic , upmarket and fancy. If you have been to Tamasha and Lords of the drinks you know what kind of ambiance to expect.

Must try – Sindh ki Tamatar Kadhi , Nukkad Salad, Paneer Lukhmi Ghugra , Taai Roti , Just everything from the desserts !

P.S. Do say hi chef Roshan Seth. He is passionate about the fab menu he has curated and I’m sure you would love interacting with him 😊

3. Summer Garden

A fairly new addition in Powai food scenes, right next to Hakone in Hirandani Garden is a gem if you’re looking for healthy food outlets. We tried quite a few things from their menu and nothing disappointed us.

Must try – Nutty Feta Salad , Farmer’s Omlet ( from their all day breakfast ) ,Mushroom Cigars, Rosti Potato , Shakes.

P.S. They also have a doggy menu for those who bring their doggy babies along. Everything here from plates to straws is organic !

4. Madeira and Mime

Good food, good mood and good vibe ! That explains Madeira and Mime.  I guarantee a good time here ! A humble place with some really great dishes. Must try – Miso soup , Watermelon with Feta Sticks , Ratatouille, Spaghetti Aglio e Olio , Chocolate Eton Mess.

P.S. Menu and service are innovative you have to wait and look around ! ( those who have been here know what I am talking about )

5. Terttulia

Vintage décor, classy set up, spacious seating and a very well designed menu sums up Terttulia. Go there in the day time or in the night, you will enjoy both.

Must try – Sangrias , Dips and Pate Platter , Portobello Olive Feta , Cheesecakes.

6. Fisco Restobar

In a short span of time this place has got quite some popularity in the vicinity. Its pretty good too! Huge space , great service and knowing the market ( serving veg food ) Do check out Fisco Restobar Must try – Khao Suey, Bamboo Biryani , Modak Ice Cream
