As Tacos are not a very popular snack here, there are not too many places that offer it on the menu and definitely not with such a great variety with a #desi twist. Bombay Taco Co. is a new outlet in #Bandra that has a compact but an interesting menu offering various tacos.

Here is what we ate

Mangalorean flavored Sweet Potato Ghee Roast Taco (INR 225)

This came with a mint Koshimbir and a Lime Sour Cream.

Cauliflower and Mushroom 65 Taco (INR 225)

The only Chinese flavoured taco we had here.

Fried Plantain Taco(INR 225)

Dressed with chipotle Mayo and Raw Mango Kachumbar.

Beetroot Falafel Taco (INR 225)

This was one of our favourite picks

Kandabhajji Taco (INR 225)

Although we were a little skeptical about it, this was really really good. Especially the chutney that topped it was made with Avocado and mint with Thecha.

Paneer Makhni Taco (INR 225)

With smoked paneer makhni and laccha onion.

Apart from this we also had Corn Ribs (INR 175) tossed in Kolhapuri Laal Thecha Buttter. It was messy but reallyyyy good.

You have different choices of sauces such as Chilli Lime, Mexican Habanero and Sriracha.

We also had BTC Fries (INR 180) tossed in Cheese sauce, hot sauce and Jalapeños.

Again, a little skeptical as I like the fries without any sauce as it makes it soggy. But they added the right amount of sauce to it.

The other options are – Paneer Makhani Fries, Butter Chicken Fries and Cheese Steak Fries.

We had their inhouse Kombuchas (INR 140) Pineapple and Lychee Ginger respectively.

For those looking for more substantial options, they also have Sandwiches and a variety of rice.

Our experience here was very pleasant as the owner Mr. Purandare was personally looking into the orders.

It’s a cute eatery in Bandra offering a vast variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian taco and much more!
