Review : Trayog Ice Creams

Location : Vile Parle, Mumbai

( Delivery all across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane)

We were approached by Mr. Sanmish Marathe last month and they wanted us to review their new brand of ice creams named #Trayog !

Trayog started about 6 months ago by a duo Parag Chaphekar and Sanmish Marathe. Avid foodies, they got into the research themselves, even hired consultants in order to develop such a distinct product.

Though there are many ice cream brands in the market, but you can barely call them ice creams ! Those are merely Frozen Desserts. Hence they wanted to come up with something unique yet authentic. Something that celebrates our culinary heritage and local produce. Trayog offers pure milk ice creams without any artificial flavours or essence.

Their main focus is to highlight Indian Fruits and Sweets / Desserts ( Mithai)

Based on their interaction with customers, when they asked 'What comes to your mind when you say Trayog?'

People responded– Authentic, Innovation and Indulgent !

Quite perfect I’d say.

From their diverse menu, we tried below flavours.

Amrood ( Masala Guava) A masala sprinkled, delicious goodness. This is surely going to take you back to school days reminding you of Masala Peru !

Ramphal ( Soursop) – Rich Ramphal flavour. For those who haven’t tasted Ramphal before, you can relate this to Sitaphal.

Chikkamagaluru Kaaphi (Coffee) – This was my favourite pick as it had an authentic southern aroma and taste. Highly highly recommended.

Ukadiche Modak – Now this, I doubt you will find anywhere else. Ukadiche Modak flavour in an ice cream is quite unheard of. Trayog has got it so perfectly right it amazed me.

Apart from this they have some very unique and interesting flavours such as

Aalepak

Puranpoli

Solkadhi

And many more such as Tilache Laadu, Palaapazhm ( Jackfruit) etc

Here is their menu. ( Do check with them for seasonal recommendation)

Trayog Ice-Creams deliver all across #Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and #Thane. ( depending on the location there is a minimal delivery cost charged)

Though I suggest you should order their tubs, Trayog also offers tasting cups which are smaller portions for one. And hence you can try multiple flavours at a time.

Trayog is on Swiggy and Zomato as well.

However, you can DM them and they will be happy to help you.

Verdict :

Unique flavours that celebrate Indian produce and culinary diversity. Definitely deserves a try!

Taste – 5/5 ( I wish could give it more)

Ambiance – NA

Service – 5/5

Value for money – NA(This was an invite)
