Review : Mitron Kandivali
Location: The Avenue, Thakur Complex, Kandivali, Mumbai
Date: 7th April 2022
We were invited by Mitron, Kandivali for a review and we were really delighted by the experience! Mitron is not a new name for a lot of people, as the franchise has multiple outlets across the city – Bandra, Andheri, Thane and Fort.
Its quite popular for its lively party scenes.

However, we ended up going there for a lunch as the focus was on food tasting.
Here is what we had -
Panzanella Bread Salad (INR 249++)
A delicious salad that had a mix of veggies such as romaine and iceberg lettuce, artichoke, olives, cherry tomatoes and mascarpone cheese. The balsamic dressing complimented the greens. The herbed bread was extra toasted though, which was slightly chewy. The only thing that didn’t work for us.
Spinach Olive Cannelloni ( INR 319++)
The cannellonis rested on the bed of duet sauce that was rich in flavor. A little heavy on palate due to cheese but totally worth it!
Paneer Al Parmesano (INR 399++)
One of the best dishes from our tasting. It had paneer strips coated with Parmesan cheese that were toasted to perfection till it had that nice crispiness. This was served with Pomodoro sauce on side and crispy kale. The combination was heavenly!
Grilled Cheese Steak (INR 499++)
Another Paneer dish but this was outstanding. The plating was done so beautifully, it reminded me of Masterchef Australia. It had two discs of grilled paneer with soy chili spaghetti in between. The combination though sounded a little unusual, when we were presented with this beautiful plate of food, we were convinced. It also had paprika sauce and garlic bread on the side. It was topped with edible flowers and micro greens.
From the drinks menu we had Melon by Mitron (INR 645++)
A melon and ginger cocktail with vodka base. Quite potent, made very well.
** They had 1+1 on cocktails**
From the mocktail menu we had Fizzy Ginger (INR 175++) and Masala Thumbs up (INR 175++) both were refreshing and soda based drinks.
All the dishes were beautifully plated and presented.
The sever Anthony was extremely friendly and he assisted us very well.
Lastly we had Panna cotta Custard (INR 299++)
It was yet another beautiful dish with honeycomb tuile, pomegranate pearls and some edible flowers.
Pros: Food expertise, Ambiance, many vegetarian dishes
