Restaurant Review : Cafe Saga, Uttan

Updated: Sep 17, 2021

Location : Uttan Beach, Bhayandar

We visited Café Saga to celebrate my sister's birthday in January 2021. There wouldn’t have been an ideal location than this. It’s a #beachfront café that overlooks Uttan Beach. A Goan Shack kind of a feel. Seating is also comfortable i.e. low chairs with table and bean bags as well. Music here is quite good too. After the sunset the #DJ takes over. Superb vibe.

Here is what we had

Assorted breads (starting from 30 to 80) Butter Rotis and Garlic Naan.

Paneer Tikka Masala (INR 230), Veg Kadai ( INR 200 ) - Both rich in flavours, we liked Paneer Tikka Masala more though.

Mushroom Stuffed Tikka ( INR 280 ) This was delicious. Surely recommended. Though it looks spicy, it had the right balance of spices. The onion side salad served along with mint chutney was mind blowing !

Paneer Chili (INR 250) – Chomped off in minutes. Good.

Apart from this we also ordered French Fries (INR 180) & Masala Papad ( INR 50)

We had two of our family members who eat non-vegetarian as well. They were quite pleased with the food too.

After our lunch we went to the beach and spent some time there. #Café has direct beach access.

By the Sunset, it had become even better with the mood lights and the music. We couldn’t help ourselves from stopping over again to have a cup of #coffee watching the sun go down.

P.S. They do not serve alcohol yet.
