Review : Thalassa - It can’t get more Greek than this !

Thalassa – Greek to the core and its B.E.A.Utiful. This place is mesmerizing. We did our research well before checking for best spots for celebrations in Goa. Thalassa was on top of this list. All reviews being great we were sure. People had recommended it for different times of the day. We chose #sunset. The place is super popular & celeb frequented. Make sure you reserve a table. We did the mistake and went there without reserving a table for ourselves. We were a group of 5. Its located on the cliff of #Vagator. So no access to beach but a brilliant view of the beach from the cliffs.

They also have a accommodation so the path that leads you to the restaurant passes through these pretty tiny Greek Houses. There are cute artifacts on the white washed walls with blue tinge. Restaurant is all al fresco dining covered with white cabana kind of roof. Very cozy. We were given a table not facing the sea so we requested the manager to fetch us a table near the view and the manager kindly did that knowing that we had a birthday girl with us.

Be here by 5ish and watch the sun go down sipping down some chardonnay or some Chenin Blanc just like we did.

The food we ordered included below –

Thalassa Special Salad – It had mixed greens with and some really exotic veggies with perfect Greek marination.

Chicken Fillet Sauvalaki – I hadn’t had this before , It was different & interesting with the combination of Potatoes

Chocolate Mousse – This was really light and rich at the same time.

Chocolate Mud Cake – Warm & hearty 🙂

They have a very elaborate Bar menu with a brilliant Wine list.

While we were there , the #Music went on from groovy to foot tapping to sexy. Too bad that we had to leave from here around 9ish when it was only getting better as the night progressed.

Do not miss this place at all no matter which part of Goa you are staying in. #Thalassa takes you to another world & it just makes it worth it.
