Hotel Review: Tivoli Hotel, Prague
Location: New Town
Date: 2-5 November
Duration: 3 nights
Â
Situated in New Town of #Prague Tivoli Hotel is quite convenient for the commute. Just about a 3-minute walk from the Metro and Tram Station – I.P. Pavlova, we could get anywhere in no time. It is also just a few minutes walk from one of the main square - Wenceslas Square (old town). It is an old-style hotel but charming nonetheless. The staff - man at night and the woman during the day time sitting at the reception were always helpful. We ended up booking a couple of interesting tours through them because of their guidance. (24 hrs front desk)
When we were booking our stay here, the #TripAdvisor reviews concerned us. But we went ahead with it anyway and to our surprise the hotel, the room, and the restaurant, everything was quite pleasant.
Â
For #European standards, the room was big with a big window yet it was noise-free. The room had a study, multiple mirrors, a big wardrobe with a safe, free Wi-Fi etc. The room was cleaned daily with replenishment of the bathroom supplies.
We paid around 60 EUR per night and it was a complete value for money!
Breakfast was the usual continental stuff with a few vegetarian options but we were comfortable with what was on the buffet spread.
Pros: Location, Room size
Cons: Breakfast could use some improvement. Â
