Restaurant Review: 1522 Bar & Kitchen

Location: Goldfinch Hotel, MIDC

Date: Visited a multiple times

Housed inside Goldfinch Hotel, 1522 Bar & Kitchen is a cool place to hang out at. They have a decent alfresco seating. The décor will remind you of Socials. 

I have visited this place a few times and it’s been quite consistent. The gin cocktails are worth a try. The staff is very attentive. Slightly on the higher side when it comes to pricing but the food and drinks both are very well prepared. We have tried a few dishes off their menu as below. 

1. Mezze Platter 

2. Chicken Koliwada – Recommended 

3. Peri Peri Fries 

4. Stir fried vegetables 

5. Butter Garlic Prawn 

6. Verdure Pizza – Recommended 

7. Mushroom Risotto 

8. Crusted Rawas – Highly recommended 

The food was delicious and the plating/ presentation was on point as well. 

P.S. I am a vegetarian, so the non-vegetarian dishes have been tried by friends/ colleagues and they mentioned these were quite tasty. 

Here is a list of drinks we tried

3.     Elderflower and Rosemary infused G&T 

4.     Martinis 

The drinks were very well made. Pricing could have been slightly lower. 

It's open till 1:30 even on weekdays. It’s also crowded on weekdays so make sure you reserve a table.

A cool place to hang out with good food and amazing cocktails.

Ambiance – 5/5 Chic. Young!
