This is a dry Gobhi i.e. Cauliflower recipe. Its quite easy and quick. You can make this recipe by replacing Cauliflower with Potatoes and Peas too.
Here is the recipe
Thinly slice 3-4 onions, 3-4 big tomatoes and cut cauliflower into small florets.
In a pan heat 2-3 tbs oil.
Now add cumin seeds 1tsp, 2 green chilies cut lengthwise and a pinch of asafoetida.
Now add the onions. Saute it, add ginger garlic paste as per your taste and let it cook till it becomes brown.
Now add tomatoes, salt as per taste ,2 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp amchoor powder. Mix it well.
Now let it cook for next 7-8 mins till it becomes soft and mushy.
Now add cauliflower florets and mix well so that its coated well with the spices.
Add 1-1.5 cup water. Mix well and cover with a lid. Let it cook for next 15 mins or so till the water is reduced.
Your Dry Masala Gobhi is ready to be served.
