Vishnu Iyer made this a few days ago and here's a simple recipe of this simple dish.
Peanuts - Half cup
Cashew ( Optional)
Mustard - 1 teaspoon
Urad dal - 1 tablespoon
Channa dal- 1 tablespoon
Curry leaves - 4-5
Green chillies - 1-2 choppee
Dried chillies - 2 whole
Rice - Cooked two cups
Lemon - 1.5 - 2 lemon's juice
Coriander- For garnish
Salt - As per taste
1.Fry peanuts & cashew in about 1 teaspoon oil on low flame. When it turns crunchy keep it aside
2. In the same pan add 1 more teaspoon oil. Once heated add Asafoetida, Mustard, Urad dal,Chana dal, Curry leaves, Green and Dry red chillies.
3.Let it all splutter.
4.When it turns aromatic add 1/4th spoon turmeric and Saute in low flame
5. Now add cooked rice, salt and mix well
6. Add fried peanuts & cashew and mix well
7.Add lemon juice and finely chopped coriander.
Ready to be served - Lime Rice
