Instant Rava Dosa

This recipe of instant Rava Dosa is sure to become your favourite go to thing for a quick fix of restaurant style Rava Dosa cravings. It turns out as good and is absolutely delicious.

 
  • Take about 1 cup Rava( Suji / Semolina) into this add half cup rice flour and 3 tbs maida ( all purpose flour) mix it well.

  • Now add 1 cup curd and salt. Add 2 cups water.

  • Mix it well.

  • Now into this add below ingredients

  • One big onion, half an inch ginger, 3 -4 green chillies, 7-8 curry leaves- finely chopped, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp black pepper and half cup finely chopped coriander.

  • Whisk it thoroughly.

  • Add 1 more cup water.

  • Keep it aside for half an hour.

  • Make sure its a runny, watery consistency.

  • On a non stick pan, pour a spoonful of batter. It will be meshlike pattern similar to neer dosa.

  • Drizzle some oil onto the dosa.

  • Make sure you are not cooking this on a high flame as we will not be flipping this dosa, it needs to be cooked on low to medium flame.

  • Slowly check underneath the dosa it should be brown. Fold it and take it off the flame.

  • Dosa is ready to be served with tangy tomato chutney.
