  1. Very Chic and Young

  2. Some really great potent cocktails

  3. Progressive Indian Food

  4. Super cool DJ

  5. Various options for non vegetarians.

What To Eat – Sindh Ki Tamatar Kadhi , Nukkad Salad, Pineapple Pizza , Mushroom Ghee Roast, Any of the desserts

What To Drink – Hello Darling

Ambiance : Quite a big place with chic ambiance.

I was there as a part of a blogger’s table and we were presented a tasting menu by their Brand Chef Roshan Sheth. He explained us how they brainstormed over two years to curate the menu they have ( which is quite impressive)

If you are a fan of the latest trend of modern Indian cuisine then this place is for you.

We had below –

DRINKS

Hello Darling – An Elderflower , Lime and Rum Cocktail (It also had a little bit of Champagne ) Very potent. Each sip was an indulging affair.

SOUPS

Tequila Thukpa – This Tequila Spiked Thukpa which is a famous Tibetan broth soup ( minus Tequila ofcourse ) was the perfect start of our really long dinner. Super light and appetizing.

Sindh Ki Tamatar Kadhi – This won my heart. Tomato Shorba ( Tomato Broth ) with okra and drum sticks. This had such a lovely tanginess to it. I kept praising it while I finished it off completely.

SALADS

Nukkad Salad  – Absolute mouth watering plate of Salad. If this doesn’t make you feel nostalgic I don’t know what will! It had Amla , Karambola , Guawa, Star Fruit etc. Sweet, Spicy , Tangy it had all the flavours.

Barley and Quioa Salad – A healthy one alas ! The citrus in it made it very refreshing.

STARTERS

Pindi Chole Fajitas – Fajitas with a twist! it had pindi chole and avocado. I found it pretty okay.

Taai Roti – A paneer dish. I personally didn’t like this one much as I couldn’t really identify different flavours in it.

Assorted Seeds , Micro Greens Salad , Charred Pineapple Pizza – Yes I love Pineapple on my Pizza and Yes ! this one was definitely one of the best 😊 A really thin crust super tasty char grilled pineapple topped pizza goes in my must haves list when in JLWA. These are multigrain and all 12 inches.

Mushroom Ghee Roast with Kori Roti – Typical Kerala flavours of ghee roast with succulent mushrooms served with kori roti is something you cant resist !

Napolean Slice – A very creamy filo pastry kind of dessert that had Mawa Cream ( very innovative ) it also had foamed gol gappas.

Not a Shahi Tukda –  A milder version of Shahi Tukda. Not too sweet with elements like mascarpone cheese and wild berries and pistachio silvers.

Textures of Chocolate – this stole our hearth with the efforts taken and brilliance used to create this wonderful dish. It really had various flavours of chocolate which comprised of chocolate brownie , dark chocolate sphere, bitter chocolate mousse, white chocolate soil. We were surprised to know all of it was indigenous. We also thought that it had liquor chocolate but it didn’t yet it had this peculiar flavour!

VERDICT

Taste – 4.3 /5

Ambiance – 4.6 /5 ( for such a tiny place they’ve done a good job )

Service –  4 /5
